Route 28 Lane Restrictions Monday, Tuesday in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing lane restrictions on Route 28 in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County will occur Monday and Tuesday, November 25-26 weather permitting.

Single-lane restrictions will occur on Route 28 in both directions at the East Ohio Street interchange from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day as crews conduct inspection activities of the Charles J. Lieberth pedestrian walkway. Ramp and walkway access will be maintained.

Crews from Michael Baker International will conduct the inspection work according to the following schedule:

  • Monday, November 25 – Northbound Route 28 at the on-ramp from East Ohio Street
  • Tuesday, November 26 – Southbound Route 28 at the off-ramp to I-279 North/East Ohio Street (Exit 1B)
