Route 28 Daylight Lane Restrictions Next Week in Allegheny County

​Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing daylight single-lane restrictions on Route 28 in Aspinwall and Fox Chapel boroughs and O’Hara Township, Allegheny County, will occur Monday, April 8 through Friday, April 12 weather permitting.

Single-lane restrictions will occur on Route 28 in both directions from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day between Delafield Avenue (Exit 7) interchange and Kittanning Pike. Crews will conduct pavement marking installation work. This work is weather dependent and will be coordinated with other restrictions occurring in the area.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
