Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing bridge inspection activities on Route 28 in Harmar Township, Allegheny County, will occur Monday through Thursday, April 8-11 weather permitting.
Bridge inspection work will occur from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day in the following locations:

Route 28 over Barge Basin – Monday and Tuesday

Route 28 over Deer Creek – Wednesday and Thursday
Single-lane and shoulder restrictions will occur approximately one-half mile south of the Harmar/I-76/Route 910 (Exit 11) interchange in each direction, however, not simultaneously. PennDOT crews will conduct the work.
Motorists should be prepared for changing traffic patterns. Please use caution when driving through the area. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
