Line Painting Operations this Week in District 11

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is advising motorists that line painting operations on various roadways in Allegheny and Beaver counties will occur Monday through Friday, October 23-27 weather permitting.

Work to repaint lines will occur from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day in the following locations:

Allegheny County

  • Route 8 in Wilkinsburg Borough

  • Route 19 in various municipalities between I-79 and West View Borough

  • Route 30 between East McKeesport Borough and Westmoreland County

  • Route 48 in various municipalities between Route 130 and the Boston Bridge

  • Route 51 in various municipalities between Lebanon Church Road and Elizabeth Borough

  • Route 148 from Jerome Street to Route 48 in the City of McKeesport

  • Route 2051 Brinton Road in various municipalities

  • Route 2060 Aber Road in the Municipality of Penn Hills

  • Route 3007/3021 Walton Road in Jefferson Hills Borough

Beaver County

  • Route 18 Rochester Monaca Bridge in Rochester and Monaca boroughs

  • Route 51 East Rochester Monaca Bridge in East Rochester and Monaca boroughs

  • Route 68 in Beaver Borough and Vanport Township

  • Route 3016 Green Garden Road/Shippingport Hill Road in various municipalities between I-376 and Route 168

Lawrence County

  • Route 224 between the City of New Castle and I-376 in Union Township

  • Route 3004 Moravia Road in North Beaver Township

Roadway line painting is an important part of PennDOT’s highway safety initiatives. Paint lines provide direction, delineation, and guidance to motorists.

Generally, PennDOT is not responsible for paint on vehicles.

Motorists should use caution and be aware of changing traffic patterns when driving through the area.
