Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing daylight short-term traffic stoppages and lane restrictions on Interstate 79 in Sewickley Hills, Franklin Park and Glenfield boroughs and Aleppo and Ohio townships, Allegheny County will occur Monday through Friday, April 15-19 weather permitting.
Crews will conduct shoulder repairs and prime coating operations on I-79 in both directions between the Neville Island Bridge and I-279 according to the following schedule:

Monday through Wednesday, April 15-17 – Overnight lane restrictions will occur from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night

Thursday and Friday, April 18-19 – Short-term traffic stoppages of 15 minutes or less will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day
Crews from the Joseph B. Fay Company will conduct the work.
