Southbound Route 28 Single-lane Restriction Monday in Allegheny County

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing a single-lane restriction on southbound Route 28 in Sharpsburg and Aspinwall boroughs, and O’Hara Township, Allegheny County will occur Monday, April 14 weather permitting.

A single-lane restriction will occur on southbound Route 28 between the Highland Park Bridge/Aspinwall (Exit 6) and the north Route 8 Etna/Butler (Exit 5) interchanges from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, April 14. Crews will conduct fiber optic repair work.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
