Lanes and Ramp Opening Today for the Clarion River Bridge Preservation Project in Paint and Monroe Townships, Clarion County

​Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today the opening of the Eastbound and Westbound lanes and the on-ramp from Route 66 to Eastbound I-80 as crews move forward with the Clarion River Bridge Preservation Project on Interstate 80 in Paint and Monroe Townships, Clarion County.

It is anticipated that the lanes and ramp will be open at 5 PM today, July 12, 2024.  There will be occasional daily lane closures both Eastbound and Westbound as Swank Construction complete the epoxy, line painting, and approach slabs.  Anticipated closures will occur at the end of July and on Monday, July 15, 2024.  Any additional closures will be announced as needed.

Contractor, Swank Construction Co., LLC of New Kensington, PA, is completing this $5 million project which is anticipated to be completed in late September.
