Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today a roadway improvement project on Hansen Avenue and Whitestown Road will begin on March 17 in Butler Township, Butler County.
Beginning on March 17, there will be a lane restriction on Hansen Avenue southbound between Woodrow Street to Whitestown Road. Traffic on Whitestown Road will be shifted, but two-way traffic will be maintained.
Contractor, Frank J. Zottola Construction, Inc. of Butler, PA, will be completing this $3.3 million improvement. The project, which includes intersection reconstruction, realignment and a new traffic signal, is estimated to be completed by the end of June 2025.
