This project is meant to improve safety at four intersections within the District. The location of the first intersection is at McClellandtown Road with Mall Run Road in South Union Township, Fayette County. The second intersection is located at the Roy E Furman Highway with Georges Road and with Glade Run Road Cumberland Township, Greene County. The third and fourth intersections are located at Morganza Road with McClelland Road & Morganza Road with Southpointe Boulevard, Washington County. A flashing yellow arrow will be installed at each location. The flashing yellow arrows will alert motorists of the need to use caution when making a left turn. This will decrease the chance of a crash. Construction is expected to begin in Summer 2025 and last through Spring 2026. Work will be completed using single-lane closures with flaggers. No detours are anticipated for this project.
