Railroad Crossing Work Planned for Strohm Road (Route 3002) in Southampton Township, Cumberland County

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a Norfolk Southern Railway Co. contractor is scheduled to perform railroad crossing work on Strohm Road (Route 3002) in Southampton Township, Cumberland County. The crossing is located between Lees Lane and High Road.

Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, March 31 and be completed Friday, April 4.

The crossing will be closed to traffic during this time. A detour will be in place using High Road, Airport Road and Route 174 (Walnut Bottom Road).
