King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that bridge and roadway construction is scheduled next week on U.S. 422 under an $83.6 million project to reconstruct and improve approximately 2.1 miles of the expressway and replace bridges between the Sanatoga Interchange and Porter Road in Lower Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, March 10, and Tuesday, March 11, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, a lane closure will be in place on eastbound U.S. 422 between Armand Hammer Boulevard and Evergreen Road (Sanatoga Interchange) in Lower Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County, for bridge construction.
- Wednesday, March 12, through Friday, March 14, from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, periodic single lane closures will be in place on westbound U.S. 422 between Route 100 and Keim Street in North Coventry Township, Chester County, for sign construction.
- Wednesday, March 12, through Friday, March 14, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, periodic single lane closures will be in place on eastbound U.S. 422 between Keim Street and Route 100 in North Coventry Township, Chester County, for sign construction.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
