King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Aqua Pennsylvania will be performing utility construction on several state highways in Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
Chester County
- Wednesday, July 5, through Friday, September 8, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 401 (Conestoga Road) between Moores Road and Phoenixville Pike in East Whiteland Township.
Delaware County
- Monday, June 12, through Wednesday, June 14, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on eastbound U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Wayne Avenue and Bloomingdale Avenue in Radnor Township.
Montgomery County
- Monday, June 19, through Friday, September 29, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Joshua Road will be closed and detoured weekdays between Ridge Pike and Cedar Grove Lane in Whitemarsh Township. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Cedar Grove Lane, Hector Street, North Lane, Chemical Road, Germantown Pike, and Joshua Road. Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Aqua Pennsylvania will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
