Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a portion of Rummerfield Creek Road (Route 1021) will be closed this week in Herrick Township, Bradford County, for a pipe replacement project.
On Thursday, July 11, 2024, and Friday, July 12, 2024, Rummerfield Creek Road will be closed between the intersections with Herrickville Road (Route 1017) and Goose Hill Road (T-483), while a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew replaces a deteriorating pipe.
A detour using Route 6, Route 409, and Herrickville Road in Herrick, Standing Stone, and Wyalusing townships will be in place while the work is being performed.
Work is expected to take two days to complete, weather permitting.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, and expect delays in travel.
