Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a portion of Comley Road will be closed next week in Lewis Township, Northumberland County for a pipe replacement project.
On Wednesday, September 25, 2024, between the hours of 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Comley Road will be closed between Wertman School Road and County Line Road, while a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew replaces a deteriorating pipe.
A detour using Hockley Hill Road (Route 1011), Showers Road (Route 1010), Gearhart Hollow Road (Route 1010) / Gearhart Hollow Road (Route 4008) in Montour County, and Comley Road (Route 4001) in Montour County, will be in place.
School buses will be permitted through the work zone prior to the project starting.
