Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a paving project is scheduled to take place this week Allegheny Avenue (Route 3002) in Shrewsbury Township, Sullivan County.
On Thursday, June 20, 2024, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be paving Allegheny Avenue near Eagles Mere during daylight hours.
A detour using Route 42 and Worlds End Road (Route 3009) will be in place while work is being performed. This project is anticipated to take one day to complete.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.
