Route 1013 Saxonburg Boulevard Slide Repair Continues in West Deer Township

​Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT is announcing slide repair work on Route 1013 (Saxonburg Boulevard) in West Deer Township, Allegheny County, will continue through Monday, October 16, weather permitting.

Slide repair work requiring the closure of a portion of Saxonburg Boulevard between Trump Road and Saxony Road has been extended through Monday, October 16 to allow crews to conduct guiderail installation. The roadway closed to through traffic around-the-clock on September 11. Traffic will remain detoured.

South of the Closure

  • From Saxonburg Boulevard, take Russellton-Dorseyville Road

  • Turn left onto East Union Road

  • Follow East Union Road to Saxonburg Boulevard

  • End detour

North of the Closure

  • Same detour in the opposite direction

Once guiderail installation is complete, notification will be sent when the roadway reopens to traffic.
