Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is advising motorists that overnight lane restrictions on I-579 and I-376 (Parkway East) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will begin Monday night, April 17 weather permitting.
Crews will conduct the removal of existing pavement markings and installation of new durable pavement markings requiring lane restrictions in the following locations:

I-376 Parkway East in both directions between the Fort Pitt Bridge and the Greenfield Bridge nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. through late April.

I-579 in both directions between Bedford Avenue and the Route 28 ramp in the northbound direction and from East Ohio Street to 6th Avenue in the southbound direction nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through early May. Additionally, work will occur in the HOV lanes.
