    Birmingham Bridge Lane Restrictions Underway in Pittsburgh

    ​Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing lane restrictions for repair work is currently underway on the Birmingham Bridge (Route 2085) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County.

    Lane restrictions are underway on the Birmingham Bridge in the southbound direction from Monday, October 2 to Tuesday, October 3 according to the following schedule:

    Southbound

    • Middle and left-hand lane restrictions from 7 a.m. Monday to 7 a.m. Tuesday

    • Right-hand lane and bike lane restrictions from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday

    Crews from Jet Excavating Company will conduct minor repair work.

    Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
