Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing the replacement of the Marion Center Bridge in Marion Center Borough, Indiana County.
The first phase the replacement project will begin on May 20, 2024, as preparation work begins along Route 403. Traffic will be restricted to a single lane in each direction for this phase of the project.
Phase 1 will continue into August as crews install temporary stream diversion, sidewalk, traffic signals and access to the post office. Prior to the start of Phase 2, additional information regarding traffic patterns and work will be shared.
The $1.36 million project is estimated to be completed in December 2024 by contractor, Francis J. Palo or Clarion, PA.
