Minor Delays on U.S. Route 219 (Flight 93 Memorial Highway) and detour of T-685 (Miller Road) in Somerset County Begin Monday, April 6

On April 6, the project contractor will implement long-term lane closures in both the northbound and southbound lanes of U.S. 219 in preparation for work on the Miller Road Bridge northbound withing the next two weeks. The contractor will also initiate a 4.7-mile detour of T-685 (Miller Road) under U.S. 219, which will use Route 4017 (Horner Church Road) in Quemahoning Township, U.S. 30 and Route 4025 (Ralphton Road) in Jenner Township.

As always, PennDOT stresses extra caution in all work zones. Drivers should drive slowly, eliminate all distractions, and stay alert for direction from advanced signage and flaggers.
