Inspection Planned Next Week for Route 39 (Linglestown Road) Bridge Over I-81 in West Hanover Township, Dauphin County

Lane restrictions on I-81 next Tuesday and Wednesday

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the Route 39 (Linglestown Road) bridge spanning Interstate 81 in Dauphin County, is scheduled to be inspected Tuesday, October 29, and Wednesday, October 30. The bridge is located at Exit 77 (Route 39/Manada Hill/Hershey) in West Hanover Township.

Weather permitting, this work will be performed from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM each day. There will be alternating right and left lane closures on southbound I-81 on Tuesday and on northbound I-81 on Wednesday.

Motorists should be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.
