Bridge Replacement Project to Begin on Grantham Road (T-913) Over Yellow Breeches Creek in York and Cumberland Counties

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the replacement of a locally-owned bridge on Grantham Road (T-913) in Monaghan Township, York County, and Upper Allen Township, Cumberland County, is expected to begin next week. The bridge spans Yellow Breeches Creek to the south of Mill Road.

Weather permitting, the contractor will begin work on Monday, March 16. Initial work will consist of clearing and grubbing in preparation of the replacement work. There will be short-term lane restrictions during daylight hours.

The bridge is expected to be closed in late May or early June. An updated press release will be issued prior to the closure.

Deblin, Inc., of Mechanicsburg is the contractor on this $2,236,085 project. All work is expected to be completed by November 17, 2026.
