Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the Route 501 (College Street) bridge spanning Tulpehocken Creek between W. Richland Avenue and W. Center Avenue in Myerstown Borough, Lebanon County, is open to traffic.
The bridge was closed in June for replacement. A detour associated with the closure has been lifted.
This project consists of the structure replacement of an existing simple-span reinforced concrete slab bridge. Work also includes minor roadway approach work and other miscellaneous construction.
Lobar Site Development, Inc., of Dillsburg, PA, is the contractor on this $2,074,301 project.
