Online Plan Display for the Route 1007 (Wilhour Road) Bridge Rehabilitation Project in Washington Township, Dauphin County

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) invites the public to an online plans display regarding the Route 1007 (Wilhour Road) Bridge Rehabilitation Project at the Wiconisco Creek crossing in Dauphin County. This project is located between US 209 and North Church Street in Washington Township.

The proposed project will be the replacement of the superstructure (bridge beams, deck, and parapet walls) of the existing bridge, pavement reconstruction on the bridge approaches, and guide rail improvements. Construction will occur during a full closure of the project area with a detour utilizing North Church Street and US 209.

A digital version of the project plans and information will be available to view online through June 2, 2025. The hard copy plans will also be available for review at the Washington Township Municipal Building through June 2, as well.

The purpose of the plans display is to introduce the project and receive public input regarding any questions or concerns with the project.
