Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that preliminary work related to the replacement of a bridge on Route 34 in Menallen and Tyrone townships, Adams County, is scheduled to begin next week. The bridge spans an unnamed tributary to Opossum Creek between Center Mills Road (Route 4003) and Idaville Springs Road (Route 1020).
Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, July 21. The contractor will perform tree removal, clearing and grubbing during daylight hours. There will be lane restrictions with flaggers providing traffic control.
