Tacony Street and Bridge Street Intersection Closed for Sewer Repair in Philadelphia

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Tacony Street and Bridge Street Intersection is closed to through traffic for emergency sewer repair in Philadelphia.

During the closure, motorists will be directed to follow the posted detour routes.  Northbound Tacony Street traffic is being permitted to turn right onto eastbound Bridge Street to access the ramp to northbound Interstate 95. Westbound Bridge Street traffic is being permitted to turn left onto southbound Tacony Street to access Aramingo Avenue.

The intersection will remain closed to through traffic until Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW), Philadelphia Water Department (PWD) and affected utilities make the necessary repairs.
