King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that pipe replacement is scheduled on Thatcher Road and Almshouse Road in Bucks County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Thursday, April 11, and Friday, April 12, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Thatcher Road will be closed between Route 313 (Doylestown Pike) and Union Road/Richlandtown Road in Richland and Haycock townships. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Union Road, Route 212 (Main Street/Richlandtown Pike/Tohickon Avenue/North Hellertown Avenue), and Route 313 (Doylestown Pike).
- Monday, April 15, and Tuesday, April 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Almshouse Road will be closed between Upper State Road and Lower State Road in Doylestown Township. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Upper State Road, Bristol Road, and Lower State Road.
Local access will be maintained. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
