King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the Philadelphia Water Department will be performing inlet repairs on Route 309 (Cheltenham Avenue) in Philadelphia and Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County, beginning Wednesday, June 19.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Wednesday, June 19, through Wednesday, June 26, a 24/7 closure is scheduled on the eastbound express lanes of Route 309 (Cheltenham Avenue) between Route 611 (Old York Road) and Broad Street. During the closure, motorists will be directed to the eastbound upper lanes of Route 309 (Cheltenham Avenue).
- Wednesday, June 19, through Wednesday, June 26, from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM, a weekday single-lane closure is scheduled on the westbound express lanes of Route 309 (Cheltenham Avenue) between Route 611 (Old York Road) and Broad Street.
