    Overhead Bridge Construction to Close Section of Fraley Street in Northeast Philadelphia

    Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that overhead bridge construction will close a section of Fraley Street next week in Northeast Philadelphia.

    Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

    During the closure, westbound Fraley Street motorists will detour left on Tacony Street, right on Bridge Street to Eadom Street. Eastbound motorists will detour right on James Street, left on Bridge Street to Tacony Street.

    Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

    The work on Fraley Street is part of PennDOT’s ongoing I-95/BS2 project that will reconstruct I-95 in both directions between Margaret Street and Carver Street.
