Overhead Bridge Construction This Week on U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Expressway) in Philadelphia

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that overhead bridge construction will take place this week on U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Expressway) under the $100.6 million project to rehabilitate the Wayne Junction Viaduct over the SEPTA tracks and Nicetown neighborhood of Philadelphia.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

The lane closures and traffic paces are needed so PennDOT's contractor can perform post-construction punch list activities on the Broad Street overpass as part of the Wayne Junction Viaduct project.
