King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that overhead bridge construction will take place this week on U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Expressway) under the $100.6 million project to rehabilitate the Wayne Junction Viaduct over the SEPTA tracks and Nicetown neighborhood of Philadelphia.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Wednesday, March 27, from 7:00 PM to 4:30 AM the following morning, a single lane closure will be in place on northbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Expressway) between 9th Street and Broad Street. In addition, periodic traffic paces (slowing) will be in place between 11:00 PM and 4:30 AM the following morning.
- Thursday, March 28, from 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM the following morning, a single lane closure will be in place on southbound U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Expressway) between 9th Street and Broad Street. In addition, periodic traffic paces (slowing) will be in place between 11:00 PM and 4:30 AM the following morning.
