Maintenance Activities Scheduled in Bucks, Chester, and Delaware Counties

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that various maintenance activities are scheduled in Bucks, Chester, and Delaware counties.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

  • Monday, September 11, through Tuesday, September 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday road closure is scheduled on Aquetong Road between Route 232 (Windy Bush Road) and U.S. 202 (Lower York Road) in Solebury Township, Bucks County for base repair. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Route 232 (Windy Bush Road), Route 32 (River Road/Main Street), Route 179 (Bridge Street), and southbound U.S. 202 (Lower York Road). Local access will be maintained;
  • Wednesday, September 13, and Thursday, September 14, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a road closure is scheduled on Clay Creek Road between Auburn Road and Church Hill Road in Franklin Township, Chester County for pipe replacement. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Auburn Road and Church Hill Road. Local access will be maintained; and
  • Monday, September 11, through Wednesday, September 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Brooke Road between Church Road and Darby Paoli Road in Radnor Township, Delaware County for milling and paving.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
