King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that line painting and barrier removal will occur next week on Interstate 95 in Northeast Philadelphia.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Sunday, May 21, through Thursday, May 25, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, lane closures will be in place on I-95 in both directions between the Cottman Avenue and Bridge Street interchanges.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time for travel through the work area. The schedule is weather dependent.
The work is part of the final stage of PennDOT's $81.1 million I-95 Section BS1 project that reconstructed I-95 from Carver Street to Levick Street.
