King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that crack sealing operations are scheduled on several highways in Delaware County, under a project applying crack sealing on state highways in Delaware and Philadelphia counties.
Motorists are advised of the following overnight travel restrictions from 8:00PM to 6:00 AM the following morning:
- Saturday, October 28, through Wednesday November 1, alternating moving lane closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 202 (Wilmington Pike) between U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) and Dilworthtown Road in Chaddsford, Thornbury, and Concord townships;
- Saturday, October 28, through Friday, November 3, alternating moving lane closures are scheduled in both directions on Route 291 (Industrial Highway) between Liberty Electric Drive and Stevens Drive in Eddystone Borough and Ridley and Tinicum townships;
- Sunday, October 29, through Thursday, November 2, a moving lane closure is scheduled on Saxer Avenue between Baltimore Pike and West Springfield Road in Springfield Township;
- Monday, October 30, through Friday, November 3, a moving lane closure is scheduled on Marshall Road between Burmont Road and the Philadelphia County line in Lansdowne Borough and Upper Darby Township; and
- Wednesday, November 1, through Saturday, November 4, a moving lane closure is scheduled on 4th Avenue between Tinicum Island Road and North Governor Printz Boulevard in Tinicum Township.
Scodeller Construction, Inc. of Wixom, MI, is the general contractor on this $3.3 million project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds.
