King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Aqua Pennsylvania will be performing utility construction on several state highways in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, October 9, through Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on westbound U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Old Wynnewood Road and Wynnewood Road; and
- Thursday, October 19, through Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday closure is scheduled on Rock Hill Road between Route 23 (Conshohocken State Road) and Belmont Avenue. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 23 (Conshohocken State Road), U.S. 1 (City Avenue), and Belmont Avenue. Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Aqua Pennsylvania will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
