King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that milling and paving are scheduled for next week on Route 3 (West Chester Pike) under a project to improve travel and safety on the Route 3 (West Chester Pike)/East Gay Street/Route 3 (Market Street) corridor in West Goshen Township, Chester County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Tuesday, May 13, through Thursday, May 22, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 3 (West Chester Pike) in both directions between Paoli Pike and Strasburg Road.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Highway Materials, Inc. of Flourtown, Pennsylvania, is the general contractor on the project, which is financed with 100 percent federal funds.
