King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that road repair is scheduled in October on four state highways in Montgomery County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Tuesday, October 7, through Tuesday, October 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure will be in place Mondays through Thursdays on eastbound U.S. 422 between Trappe/Royersford and Oaks/Audubon interchanges in Upper Providence and Limerick townships.
- Friday, October 10, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure will be in place on the Route 29 (Collegeville Road) eastbound off ramp at the Route 29/U.S. 422 interchange in Upper Providence Township.
- Friday, October 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure will be in place on the Route 29 (Collegeville Road) eastbound off ramp at the Route 29/U.S. 422 interchange in Upper Providence Township.
- Wednesday, October 22, through Friday, October 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Susquehanna Road will be closed and detoured between Lindsay Lane and Mill Road in Abington Township. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 232 (Huntingdon Pike), Route 73 (Cottman Ave/Township Line Road), and Route 611 (Old York Road).
Local access will be maintained at all times. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when travelling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
