Route 3001 over Carter Creek Closed in Susquehanna County

Dunmore, PA- PennDOT has closed Route 3001 over Carter Creek in Auburn Township, Susquehanna County for a culvert replacement project. Work is estimated to be completed in the fall of 2024. The detour route is as follows:

From North to South:

From Fuller Road, Beechgrove Road, and Route 3005 take a right on Route 3003 then take a left on Route 3002, and finally, take a left onto SR 3001.

From South to North:

From Route 3001, take a left onto Route 3002, then take right to Route 3003 to Route 3001.

When encountering a work zone, please drive the posted speed limit, turn on your headlights, pay close attention to signs and flaggers, and avoid all distractions. In high-traffic locations, motorists are encouraged to use both lanes of travel to the merge point and take turns merging into the open lane.​
