Pipe Replacement Project Starts This Week on Herndon Bypass Road in Jackson Township, Northumberland County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised a pipe replacement project is set to begin this week on Route 3006 (Herndon Bypass Road) in Jackson Township, Northumberland County.

On Wednesday, April 12, 2023, through Tuesday, April 18, 2023, Herndon Bypass Road will be closed between Routes 147 and 225 while a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew replaces cross pipes. Work will take place between the hours of 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

A detour using Routes 147 and 225 will be in place. Motorists should drive with caution in the area and expect delays.
