Bridge Inspection Next Week on Interstate 180 in Lycoming County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that there will be lane restrictions next week on Interstate 180 in both directions in Loyalsock Township and Montoursville Borough, Lycoming County, for bridge inspections.

On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) bridge inspection crew will be performing an inspection of the bridge carrying I-180 eastbound over the Loyalsock Creek. Motorists can expect alternating lane restrictions 2 miles west of Exit 21 (Route 87 / Montoursville) in Montoursville Borough.

On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, the crew will be inspecting the bridge carrying I-180 westbound over the Loyalsock Creek. Motorists can expect alternating lane restrictions east of Exit 23 A / B (Warrensville Road / Third Street) in Loyalsock Township.

Work will be performed between the hours of 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM on both days. Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel and drive with caution.
