5:30 PM UPDATE: Route 339 NB is open in Columbia and Luzerne Counties.
Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that Route 339 northbound is closed between Route 93 in Nescopeck, Luzerne County and Smith Hollow Road in Mifflin Township, Columbia County, due to a vehicle crash.
A detour using local roads is in place. The roadway is expected to be open later this afternoon.
Route 339 southbound is closed to traffic due to a construction project. Southbound traffic will use the long-term detour of Broad Street in Nescopeck, Route 93 north, Route 11 south, Market Street in South Centre Township, Market Street bridge, and Route 339, for the remainder of the construction season.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, watch for changing traffic patterns, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.
