5:30 AM Update: Route 6 is now open in Shippen Township, Tioga County..
Montoursville, PA –Motorists who travel Route 362 in Shippen Township, Tioga County are advised the road is closed near the intersection with Route 6/Bridge over Marsh Creek, near Ansonia, due to fire department activity.
A detour is in place using Route 6 and Long Run Road (Route 349) to Gaines and Routes 49 and 249 to Westfield.
Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following local alerts on X.
