2:40 PM UPDATE: Route 1006 (Eighth Street) is open in Delaware Township, Northumberland County.
Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that Route 1006 (Eighth Street) is closed between Route 1005 (Seagrave Drive) and Route 1007 (Susquehanna Trail) in Delaware Township, Northumberland County, due to police activity.
A detour using local roads is in place. The roadway is expected to be closed for several hours.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect travel delays, and drive with caution.
