Bridge Inspections Next Week on Routes 44 and 287 in Lycoming County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of lane restrictions next week on Routes 44 and 287 in multiple municipalities in Lycoming County, for bridge inspections.

A Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) bridge crew will perform inspections on these dates in the following locations:

• Monday, May 12, 2025 – Route 44 in Waterville
• Tuesday, May 13, 2025 – Route 44 in Antes Fort
• Wednesday, May 14, 2025 – Route 44 in Jersey Shore
• Thursday, May 15, 2025 – Route 287 in Salladasburg

A specialized crane will be used to complete the inspections. Motorists can expect alternating lane restrictions with flagging at each location. Work will take place between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM daily, weather permitting.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution through the work zone.
