Clearfield, PA –The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is alerting area motorists that a pipe replacement project along Route 2012 (Penns Creek Road) in Gregg Township, Centre County, will cause a daytime closure and detour from June 3 through June 5. Route 2012 will be closed between Lingle Valley Road and Lower Georges Valley Road.
The detour will be in place from June 3 through June 5 between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM using T-449 (Beaverdam Road). The detour will be lifted each night, once pipe work is complete for the day. PennDOT will re-open the road earlier than 3:00 PM if work progress allows.
A crew from Centre County PennDOT Maintenance will perform this work, replacing a large pipe across the road to improve drainage in the area.
