Clearfield, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that its Centre County Maintenance Organization will close a Route 2006 (Rock Hill Road) bridge spanning Hayes Run in Harris Township on Tuesday, October 14, to replace its wooden deck surface. Replacing the deck surface will improve the ride quality over the bridge, extend its service life, and improve its overall condition rating.
While the bridge is closed, drivers will follow a detour using Linden Hall Road, Route 45, and Route 144 around the closure. PennDOT expects the work will take approximately two weeks to complete, but all schedules are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
PennDOT Centre County Maintenance personnel will complete all work associated with this project.
