Surface Improvements Begin Monday in Fayette County

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that surface improvement work is scheduled to begin Monday, June 10, in three Fayette County locations: 

  • Bullskin Township
    • Route 982 (Pleasant Valley Road) between Route 1052 (Greenhouse Road) and Three Mile Hill Road.
  • Saltlick Township
    • Route 381 (Indian Creek Valley Road) between Camp Wildwood Road and Hillview Road.
  • Uniontown City
    • Route 21 (McClellandtown Road) between Gabriels Plaza/Work Parkway and Route 2040 (Main Street). 

Daylight, rolling single-lane restrictions will occur in active work areas and are anticipated through late August. All work depends on weather and operations. 

Golden Eagle Construction will be conducting tree trimming, milling, base repair, leveling, paving, wearing and line painting – an infrastructure improvement of $3.3M. 

Motorists should exercise caution traveling through work zones and be alert for workers. Safety is everyone's responsibility.
