Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that a portion of Route 4041 (School Road) is scheduled to close Monday, June 3, 7:00 AM, from Sardis Road to Mill Stream Court in Murrysville Borough, Westmoreland County.
The closure is anticipated through late August. Only those who reside within the restricted area will be permitted access. All other traffic must follow the 4.75 mile posted detour using Sardis Road, Old William Penn Highway, and North Hills Road.
Crews from Plum Contracting will be replacing the bridge that carries Route 4041 (School Road) over Haymakers Run and includes full depth reconstruction of the roadway, drainage, guiderail, signing, and pavement marking upgrades. The superstructure project is expected to be complete in March 2025 at an infrastructure investment of $2.8M.
