Route 2025 Ankney Hill Road Slide Repair Begins Next Tuesday in Westmoreland County

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that Route 2025 (Ankney Hill Road) is scheduled to close Tuesday, August 20, between Route 982 (Welty Road) and Shady Lane in Mount Pleasant Township, Westmoreland County.

County maintenance department slide crew will be conducting slide repairs – an infrastructure improvement of $100K. Work is anticipated through early September depending on weather and operations.

A posted detour will be in place using Clay Pike Road to Route 982 (Welty Run Road).
