District 12 Roads Closed Due to Flooding and Landslide – 8:25 AM UPDATE

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing that portions of the following roadways are closed at this time due to flooding and landslide:

Fayette County

  • Route 201 (both directions) between Connellsville Street/Johnson Hollow Road in Fayette City Borough and Route 906 (West Side Street) in Washington Township.
  • Route 3003 (Tom Cat Hollow Road) Volek Road in Springhill Township and Geneva Road in Nicholson Township.
  • Route 4003 (Albany Road/Bull Run Road/Market Street/High Street) between Market Street in Brownsville Borough and Central School Road/Newell Road in Jefferson Township.

 Washington County

  • Route 221 between Conger Road and Cowden Lane/Plumsock Road in Morris Township.
  • Route 231 between Enon Church Road and beginning of Route 231 in East Finley Township.
  • Route 481 between Van Voorhis Lane in Carroll Township and First Street/Main Street in the City of Monongahela.
  • Route 2019 (Almond Road) between Route 917 (Main Street) and Wherry Road in Somerset Township.
  • Route 2020 (Ten Mile Road) between Hufford Run Road in Amwell Township and Little Creek Road in West Bethlehem Township.
  • Due to a landslide:
    • Route 2020 (Ten Mile Road) between Route 2047 (Little Creek Road) and Route 2049 (Jefferson Avenue).

 Westmoreland County

  • Route 381 between Club Stable Road and Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) in Ligonier Township.
  • Route 1011 (Midget Camp Road) between Girl Scout Camp Road and Tantlinger Hollow Road in Fairfield Township.
  • Route 1011 (Midget Camp Road) between Creek Road and Girl Scout Camp Road in Fairfield Township.
  • Route 1016 (Bairdstown Road) between Derry Lane and Market Street / Indiana County Line in Derry Township.
  • Route 1055 (Hannastown Road/Whitethorn Road) between Route 22 (William Penn Highway) and Township Road in Salem Township.
  • Route 2008 (Jefferson School Road) between U P Church Road and Four Mile Run Road in Cook Township.
  • Route 2012 (Brinkerton Road/Depot Street/Armbrust Brinkerton Road/Armbrust Road) between Fairground Road and Route 819 (Armbrust Road) in Hempfield Township.
  • Route 2045 (Two Mile Run Road) between Route 711 and Slater Road in Ligonier Township.
  • Route 3016 (Hermine Road/Middletown Road/Lowber Road/Madison Road) between Carnegie Road and Wachs Lane in Sewickley Township.
  • Route 3016 (Hermine Road/Middletown Road/Lowber Road/Madison Road) between Cool Springs Road and Carnegie Road in Sewickley Township.
  • Route 3089 (Ruffsdale Road/Water Street/Buttermore Avenue/Old Bethany Road/Bair Boulevard) between Thompson Hollow Road in East Huntingdon Township and Bridge Street/Hunker Waltz Mill Road in New Stanton Borough.

 Motorists should never drive through flooded roadways, as it takes just two feet of fast-moving water to float a car.
