Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing single-lane restrictions are scheduled for centerline and shoulder rumble strip installation in Fayette and Washington counties beginning Wednesday, November 19 until early December, weather and operational dependent.
Fayette County:
- Route 40 in Menallen, South Union, and Henry Clay townships.
- Route 982 in Bullskin Township
Washington County:
- Route 22 in Smith and Robinson townships.
- Route 40 in Donegal Township.
Bronder Technical Services, Inc. will perform the work as part of a low-cost safety improvement project (LCSIP) on state roads throughout Fayette, Greene, and Washington counties. The overall job includes installing rumble strips, guiderail mounted delineation, ground mounted delineation, and traffic signal work—a $385K infrastructure investment.
Exercise caution while approaching the work zone. Remain alert and follow the posted signs and speed limits. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
